No. Ujala Charitable Foundation covers its operational costs through voluntary tips left by donors (the 'cover transaction fees' checkbox) and separate administrative grants. 100% of your primary donation goes directly to the campaign you chose.
Your 80G receipt is automatically generated and emailed to you within 24 hours of successful completion of your donation. You can also download all current and past receipts from your Donor Dashboard.
Our field network uses a proprietary mobile app that captures GPS coordinates and timestamps with every photo. These metadata points are checked before any photo is published to our Live Impact Dashboard.
Currently, we can only accept donations from Indian bank accounts, UPI, and credit/debit cards issued in India per FCRA regulations. We are working on acquiring FCRA clearance to accept foreign funds.
